Don’t Believe In Fairies
Hermia is given a choice: marry Demetrius, be put to death or be locked away in a convent. She chooses death. Everyone else, however, chooses for her: the nunnery. This contemporary take on a mythical world asks: what happens when fairies don’t come to your rescue? And to find the answer, Pyramus and Thisbe, Hermia and Lysander, Hermia’s dad, Helena and Demetrius, Theseus and Hippolyta... and Phaedra, must wade through twenty years of heartache, isolation and hijinks to discover, for themselves, the price of their own hearts, the burden of their actions and the imprint of their legacies.
